2nd Annual Create for a Cause Fundraising Event

Mark your calendar! October 24th, 2009, Port Hardy Baptist Church and Port McNeill Baptist Church will be co-hosting the 2nd Annual Create for a Cause Fundraising Event benefiting the Gazette Hamper Fund at the Port Hardy Civic Center. Last year, over 50 ladies from Port Hardy, Port McNeill, Woss, Holberg and Port Alice participated in this all day papercrafting event. This year there will be more classes, fun challenges, loads of prizes and lots of opportunities to connect with other papercrafters all over the north island. The best part of the day was that we raised nearly $500 and a huge pile of food and toys were donated to the Gazette Hamper Fund which exists to serve families in our neighbourhoods. We would be honored if you would join us again this year as we meet to craft and to raise support for a worthy north island cause.
